Happy Memorial Day! I went to my first cook out at my uncle Bryan's house in KY. It was an action packed weekend but I got to meet my family in ol KY and they all spoiled me rotten :)

Bathtime- Ms. Naomi's favorite time of day. No matter how fussy she gets (aka for crying fits) she gets so calm once she hears the water running.

Hurray! I am one month old today!

Our first family outing! We went to the Birmingham Barons baseball game last night. Naomi slept for the majority of the game and I got in a massive amount of people watching time. Just what this new mom needed. By contrast in skin color between me and Chris, it is obvious that I need to get outside in the sun more. Note to self, no more white shirts!

She really does have eyes! Trying to get pics of an awake Naomi has been challenging. When Dad is around, she is all smiles :)

Many thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Easton for coming the first week Naomi was here. The dogs miss their morning walk with Grandpa :) We are now in operation KEEP NAOMI AWAKE during the day. We need to separate day from night. Grandma and Grandpa Sims have been here this week and believe that Naomi is truly gifted :) Chris and I are so happy that our parents have been here to help us through the transition to parenthood. Also, many thanks to Auntie Emily! Emily has been on speed dial for me and Naomi and has and will drop anything for us. It definitely takes a village!

Naomi Hope was born on March 30th, 2009 via c-section at 2:14 PM. She weighed 6 lbs. 13oz. She is perfect, happy and healthy and Chris and I feel very blessed.
